Nintendo has announced that the next N64 game to come on the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack will be Kirby. 64 The Crystal Shards. The latest N64 game for Nintendo Switch was Mario Golf. which was added to the service on April 15, and Nintendo recently confirmed it was not done by adding new content to the online service.

Kirby 64: Crystal Shards on Nintendo Switch Online also supports storage circuits, although its short duration means this will not be necessary.

The story in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards involves one of Kirby’s most formidable enemies, the abomination of eldritch called Dark Matter, who wishes to use the power of the Great Crystal to achieve his goals. The Great Crystal is shattered into 74 pieces and it is up to Kirby and his supporters to find them all. Gameplay on Kirby 64: Crystal Shards is a typical series ride, with Kirby being able to copy the power of his enemies by sniffing them. One new twist introduced in Kirby 64: Crystal Shards was Power Combos, which allowed Kirby to combine forces with his enemies to make a single move. Kirby 64: Crystal Shards received a good reception during its launch, though many criticized its short length, which is not a big problem when it comes to downloadable titles.
When the Expansion Pack was first unveiled, Nintendo announced a few N64 Switch Online games. Now that Kirby 64: Crystal Shards has been given a release date, it leaves only Pokémon Snap as the last game announced to be added to the service, which could happen in June.
